The Nordonia Hills Branch of the Akron-Summit County Library System opened at its present location in 1964. In 1990 the name was changed to Nordonia Hills Branch to reflect the areas served by the library - Northfield Center, Northfield Village, Sagamore Hills and Macedonia.
