API endpoint for viewing page history.

Filter fields

You can filter the result set by providing the following query parameters:

  • name -- Filter by name, exact.
  • slug -- Filter by page slug. Supports the standard lookup types
  • region -- Filter by region. Allows for chained filtering on all of the filters available on the region resource, e.g. region__slug.

And the usual set of historical filter fields:

  • history_user - filter by the user resource of the editor, if user was logged in. Allows for chained filtering on all of the filters available on the user resource, e.g. history_user__username.
  • history_user_ip - filter by the IP address of the editor.
  • history_date - filter by history date. Supports the standard lookup types
  • history_type - filter by history type id, exact.


You can order the result set by providing the ordering query parameter with the value of one of:

  • slug
  • history_date

You can reverse ordering by using the - sign, e.g. -slug.

It was designed by <a href=\"Julia%20Morgan\">Julia Morgan</a> and constructed in 1906 as <strong>Hotel Holland</strong>. <sup>3</sup></p>\n<p>\n\tIt became run down and was the target of a lawsuit from the city of Oakland to shut it down because of drug dealing and squalor. The hotel was been cited for a number of code violations including broken toilets, exposed wiring, and mold infestations. <sup>1</sup> Ironically, in the <a href=\"https://maps.google.com/maps?q=West+Grand+Hotel,+Oakland,+CA&amp;hl=en&amp;ll=37.811975,-122.27199&amp;spn=0.004251,0.009398&amp;sll=37.785368,-122.229767&amp;sspn=0.544289,1.203003&amp;t=m&amp;z=18&amp;layer=c&amp;cbll=37.812412,-122.272229&amp;panoid=ES_tYnbx7-BqgJFpBKRX9A&amp;cbp=12,199.59,,0,0\">Google Street View</a> from January, 2014, a large banner proclaims \"Now Renting / Newly Remodeled\".</p>\n<p>\n\tIn 2018 the city announced plans to buy it and refurbish it as homeless transitional housing. <sup>2</sup>\u00a0It opened later in 2018 under the name <strong>The Holland</strong>. <sup>3</sup></p>\n<h3>\n\tHistory</h3>\n<p>\n\tBefore the 1912 renumbering and street re-alignment, the address of the Hotel Holland was 589 - 22nd Street.
