\n\n\tJosh Lawson is from Davis California. He ran a political-party-free campaign for City Council. His platform was personal responsibility, honesty and exposing hypocrisy wherever it appears.
\n\t
\n\tAlthough controversial, he is well known and admired by many Davis locals for his hardworking blue collar ethos, generosity of spirit, and willingness to speak his mind no matter what the consequences are.
\n\tMr. Lawson has contributed to the local arts culture, public safety and transportation. He currently lives with his life partner, Snoot.
\n\n\tHe has been a member of many musical bands of the past and present. His active projects include Glug, Death Remedy, and Avenue Saints.
\n\n\tHe used to joke that he was a nontraditional, non-judgmental abortion provider who worked out of compassion and not for the love of money.
\n\t
\n\tWhile walking home after work late one night, Josh helped intervene in the immediate aftermath of a notable hate crime in Davis. He took the assailant to the ground and held him to submission until the police arrived. He was acknowledged for his role in the independent documentary, Davisville (2013).

\n\n\t2012-01-21 09:44:49 \u00a0 I believe that all of the candidates in recent history have run without party affiliation (that is, they may or may not have had a declared party, but that party planned no role in their campaigns for City Council). \u2014CovertProfessor
