The Raw Deal is a coffee shop that serves raw foods, coffee, smoothies, and brews beer. It is a wonderfully intimate yet spacious (perfect place to work on projects) environment and the staff is always friendly! It's a great place to hang out or have small meetings. The Raw Deal is also a UPS access point.
They host musicians and open mics about once a week.
They roast and use coffee from Farmer to Farmer, which is small non-profit in WI that purchases coffee directly from family coffee farmers for an above fair trade price. The profits from the coffee sales go back to the farmers and to help support various projects in their communities.
In the winter the Raw Deal hosts the winter farmers market.
