The Brown Couch Cafe was a restaurant located at 340 - 14th St. in downtown Oakland. Until it was sold to new owners in late 2014, the Yelp consensus was that wraps were the way to go here, although Brown Couch also served coffee, pastries, and other coffee shop staples. The cafe also had a rotating schedule of local art and sometimes hosted art receptions and bands. The new owners changed the menu and the service went seriously downhill, and now the restaurant is closed.
