Jump'n Java Coffeehouse is a café located at 6606 Shattuck Ave. Oakland, CA 94609. It opened in 2002.
The owner, Mike Dawoud, is usually the only person working here, 12 hours a day, 364 days a year (he does not work on Christmas). He can usually be seen sitting outside, and often chats with friends or photographs the cafe.
The iced coffee is excellent. To step it up a notch, order the "Mike's," which is iced coffee, half and half, and coffee syrup.
