public domain from WikipediaRalph Livingstone Edwards (June 13, 1913 – November 16, 2005) was a radio announcer and later TV announcer and producer. Edwards moved to Oakland with his family when he was 12, and he graduated from Oakland High School in 1930 (one person on FB said 1931; further research required) where he was a yell leader and a sports writer for the yearbook. 1 He first worked at KROW Radio in Oakland, while he was still in high school. He later worked for KTAB Radio, run by the Tenth Avenue Baptist Church. He's probably best known for creating the TV shows "Truth or Consequences" and "The People's Court".
