Mr. Toots Coffeehouse is a quaint coffeehouse nestled above the charming village of Capitola overlooking the ocean and pier just south of Santa Cruz. The warm and friendly atmosphere is very conducive to relaxing with friends, reading your favorite book, viewing the local art on display or listening to the sounds of live local musicians while enjoying your favorite coffee or tea drink.
Focused on serving the highest quality coffee and espresso, Mr. Toots serves only fresh organic, shade grown, Fair Trade coffee made from beans locally roasted. The French roasted coffee beans are a custom blended of Indonesian and Sumatran beans and delivered fresh weekly.
Mr. Toots Coffeehouse is the second oldest coffeehouse in all of Santa Cruz County having been in business over 26 years in the same location. Located upstairs above Margaritaville, Mr. Toots has the old world charm it has been known for over the past two decades.
Mr. Toots Coffeehouse offers locally made pastries, cookies, unique coffee drinks, blended drinks, sandwiches, or a slice of fresh baked quiche, all while overlooking the beach.
Karl Heiman is the owner of Mr. Toots Coffeehouse, as well as Caffe Pergolesi in downtown Santa Cruz.
