About: The Filipino American mural is a collaborative art piece that was made by over 200 artists working together. It is the first mural in the CSU system to have imagery of Filipino American History. The vibrant mural depicts many noteworthy Filipino figures such as Al Robles and Philip Vera Cruz. The mural is divided into four distinct sections: solidarity, community, struggle in the Philippines, and struggle in the United States. The mural is a reminder of the struggle of the labor class both in the past and looking forward.
