The department of Sustainability at SFSU has developed a water management plan to environmentally benefit the community by installing water filling stations in every campus building, replaced old water fixtures with low flow models, installed new irrigation systems on lawns to help crops grow, and groundwater infiltration that comes from the rain is reused.

The best way to reach the staff during this pandemic is through email. The departments mission is to educate the students and faculty about their welfare and about embracing the principles of water sustainability by keeping everyone informed.
