Retired, former software developer, now working to improve the quality of life of my community. I help develop and maintain applications of information technology. I focus on domains where there is no profit incentive (i.e. "no money in it"), but where the community benefits from the application none the less. I tend to work on projects that yield benefits that money can't buy. So a good portion of my time is spent supporting community commons, like localWiki.
