Rama Almusawi, whose father, Talib Almusawi, has owned the place for the past three years, says further renovations, including new tables, are in the works. Rama Almusawi says everything in the restaurant is made from scratch and reflects the cuisine of her father's native Iraq.

I would, however, recommend the hummus appetizer and the cauliflower pita wraps. When you're talking hummus, some places go heavy on the garlic, some heavy on the tahini. Al Noor actually goes kind of heavy on the lemon, but not in a bad way. It's a little unusual to get a hummus this creamy and lemony, but I like it.
