Complete Nutrition is a nation wide supplement store that specializes is sports nutrition, weight loss, and overall health. They are known for there great customer service and making sure every guest is receiving knowledge on every product in the store to reach everyone’s health goal.

History of Complete Nutrition

Complete Nutrition was created by a previous store owner of the GNC franchise, this owner was Cory Weidel. Cory started with one GNC store. To grow his business he found a product that was to maximize testosterone for males, this product wasn't just great but it was extremely cheap to buy. Cory put a new label on the product and sold it in his store. By doing this the amount of profit the store made was growing very fast, the CEO’s of GNC were astounded by the way he was growing the GNC store. But he was going behind GNC back by doing this because that particular product wasn't apart of GNC’s brand. So even though he was making GNC tons of money on this great new product they made him stop. He didn't want all the rules and regulations GNC had to offer and decided to leave the company and create his own brand in 2001. This brand was called NDS Nutrition, but in 2008 Cory sold NDS Nutrition and he wanted to focus his energy on a retail concept. This soon became Complete Nutrition. The first store opened up in Omaha, Nebraska. He only wanted to have the best most important supplements in the store and eliminate all the clutter. Due to the fact that he knew he could find products that worked well and that were cheap he could make a great profit on the supplements. But he wasn't all about the money He emphasized customer service as well and wanted them to feel like family, this drove more and more people into this new supplement store. Over 64 percent of the employees that work are certified personal trainers or have perviously been strength coaches. Within just a couple years Complete Nutrition grew up to 121 stores and now there is over 175 nation wide stores. It is the one of the fastest growing companies in the United States.

Bloomington Store Detail's

Complete Nutrition in Bloomington was one of the first few stores to open in 2008. The store has grown extremely well and many people shop in the store on a regular bases. Due to the fact that State Farm has such a big impact on the town the store adapted to the town’s main focus and gives all State Farm employee’s 25 percent off on all products in the store.

The Complete Nutrition Experience

Complete Nutrition is known for there great customer service and making sure every guest is receiving knowledge on every product in the store. For each and every person a consolation happens with the customer, this information gathered is very important because this makes the sales consultant point you in the right direction for what your ultimate goal is. These goals can include weight loss, transformations, muscle gain, increase digestion, and boosting metabolism. With these goals Complete Nutrition has great new technology, this technology is called the Tanita Scale. This scale measures peoples weight, but instead of just tracking weight it can track all kinds of important information. This health monitor can display a complete body composition profile, including weight, body fat % (total and segmental), body water %, muscle mass (total and segmental), physique rating, BMR, DCI, metabolic age, bone mass, and visceral fat. All this information is very important, the consultant will take what the scale gives them and show each customer where they stand and where they need to be based on their personal goals. Complete Nutrition has two different memberships that customers can become. If a customer is interested in buying a product, the consultant will give you a sample to try in the store. This is a great way for customers to try the products before they buy them. Also a customer will receive a full daily supplement guide line so that they don't have any confusion on how to take each and every supplement. The consultants in the store are very knowledgeable and do the best they can for each customer to accomplish each and everyone's goals.

Community Involvement

Complete Nutrition is very involved with the community unlike a lot of other franchise companies. “We have a lot of different opportunities to help the community, we try our best to do what we can. We have already had multiple St. Jude’s Hospital fundraiser donations this year.” said the current store manager. Complete Nutrition has participated in multiple expo’s here in town as well, to help people in need with supplements. Also they have donated multiple gift baskets to local High School’s such as Normal Community, Normal Community West, Bloomington High, and University High for prom fundraisers. They also sponsor local athletes here in town that compete in body building shows or even powerlifting competitions. Currently Complete Nutrition is helping with the fundraiser for MDA, which is for Muscular dystrophy.

Memberships for the Customers

Complete Nutrition offers two types of memberships for customers. They want to save as much money for customers as possible. Any one can sign up for either one or both of the following memberships:

CLUB Member

Receives all Preferred Member price discounts
Also customers will have the opportunity to build in store credit. This credit is built by having an automatic deduction of eleven dollars come from a debit/credit carb account on every single month, this eleven dollars turns into in-store credit. By doing this Complete Nutrition matches the eleven dollars with eleven free dollars. So the customer will have $22 dollars in store credit to apply to any products in the store. The money will over lap every month as well if customers do not come in to spend month to month. This is a perfect way for customers to save even more money.
