Location
Weaver Street Market is the heart of downtown Carrboro and walking distance from downtown Chapel Hill, the farmer's market, and local music venues. It is the perfect place to grab a coffee or meet friends for lunch. With a beautiful outdoor lawn, there is plenty of space for the kids to run around and there is a lovely fountain that people can sit around with views of the whole market. WSM is located on East Weaver Street and has a bus stop located right in front of the fountain providing easy access to all over town. Surrounding WSM are local shops and Carr Mill Mall, that is also home to many local shops and restaurants. Carrboro's WSM is the birthplace to these wonderful Co-op communities. There are now additional locations in Southern Village in Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, and Raleigh (opening Spring 2019).
Events
Multiple times a month there are different events that are friendly towards friends and family. In May of 2019 WSM has jazz brunches the last 3 Sundays in the month and a Spring Wine Show on the 11th. Read about more events here.
Food
Every day WSM's chefs create fresh delicious food choices for their hot bar and salad bar as well as prepared sandwiches and other packaged meals. Every day on the hot bar there is:

- Southern Style Collards
- Steamed Mixed Vegetables
- Green Beans
- Rosemary Red Potatoes

Reusable Bag Initiative
For Earth Day this year, WSM has decided to eliminate nonreusable paper and plastic bags at their counters and only offer reusable ones to their customers. As a continuing commitment to bettering the environment, WSM has decided that this is their next step. Read more about it here.
