About Delish:Delish Cakery is a bakery in the University area of Charlotte that specializes in delicacies such as cakes, cookies, and macarons. According to the website, Delish Cakery's goal is to "merge artistry and taste" in the interesting of celebrating life's best moments. Delish is not a walk-in bakery, and all food purchased from the store must be ordered beforehand by way of appointment. Delish also specializes in baking for events such as weddings, parties, and other gatherings. Delish specializes sugar-flower artistry, and many of their more ornate creations come with these unique flower designs. The bakery can also makes desserts for businesses and other organizations, and have no problem placing logos onto their creations. Finally, the bakery also has a delivery program that ships desserts all throughout the Charlotte area.
About the Founder: Aryn Keogh founded Delish Cakery in 2009, The bakery was originally operated out of Keogh's home in Charlotte, before she moved to the University area and opened a bigger space. Keogh built up the resources for her new bakery by a combination of contributions from family and friends, and crowdfunding from interested parties. Keogh is a native of Charlotte and has long been interested in baking, even before opening Delish. Keogh uses original recipes in her baking.
