Five and Eye (not to be confused with Five and I, the intersection where it is located) is a restaurant in West Chico that is full of cheap eats. Located on the former site of Fifth and Ivy Laundromat, Five and Eye is located right in the midst of the frat houses and other student housing. Prime student location, late hours, and inexpensive prices make it a place to stop for a bite to eat after a trip to the bars.

The food at Five and Eye is your typical pub fare of burgers, sandwiches, wraps and salads. Breakfasts are also available, which include breakfast burritos, omelets, French toast, and more. Another added bonus is that they serve both of the major local brews as well, Sierra Nevada Brewery and Butte Creek Brewing Company.

2009-05-21 18:57:57   I have had a veggie breakfast burrito from this place. I don't remember if it was good or not. So it must not have been anything too special. I haven't been back since, either. But I think that is more because of its location as explained above than anything else. —RyanMikulovsky

2009-12-16 23:16:51   Five and Eye is delicious and fun! The quality, quantity, and variety of foods can't be beat. The gourmet Burgers, teriyaki bowls, and breakfast burritos are top notch. The prices are pretty low, you could save money by eating here instead of at home! I'm a regular there now (local Chico girl), and I have to drive all the way across town to get there. Five and Eye captures the spirit of Chico. Yummmmm! —24.6.94.236
