On Saturday, March 21, 2015, The Bridge Church hosted the event Serving Saturday. Between 30 and 40 members and attendees of The Bridge Church met at Ebeneezer Church on Edmonson Ferry Road at 9 a.m. They then split into smaller groups and headed into the housing areas off of Edmonson Ferry Road, Caldwell Lane, and other streets in the Greenwood area. The playground areas were also cleaned to create a safer environment for the children. They did trash clean up around the houses and streets in the area, knocked on doors to see if residents were in need of any large items being hauled away for free, and invited residents in the areas to come to Ebeneezer Church at noon for a free cookout. By 1 p.m., dozens of loads of old furniture, large and broken items, and other trash had been hauled away, causing the area to be much cleaner and safer for the children in the area. The cookout portion of Serving Saturday occurred from noon until about 1:30 p.m., and it included free hotdogs, chips, cookies, and drinks for the residents in the area that were all donated from various attendees of The Bridge Church. There was sidewalk chalk, bottles of bubbles, and other activities for the children to play with.

The Bridge Church meets on Sundays at 10 a.m., at Waterstreet Event Center on Riverside Drive.
