Cogswell Hall, Is an independent living housing, for adults (ages 18 years old and older) who suffer life challenges mental illness and disable adults live here at Cogswell Hall. Cogswell Hall. There are 41 rooms, all 41 rooms comes with furniture, your own bathroom, bath/shower, a toilet, and sink (all inside the bathrooms), closet space, microwave, and a freezer/refrigerator. Each room has it's own air conditioner/heat that you can control the temperature yourself. Cogswell Hall rent is 30% of your income you must get 500 dollars of income or more. There is a meal plan (3 meals a day) here at Cogswell Hall which is another 30% of your income. A total of rent and and meal plan put together is 60% of you income. You do not have to eat the meals here at Cogswell Hall, you may cook your own meals yourself. There is house keeping, you don't have to get house keeping you may clean you room and do you laundry yourself. There a laundry room on the 3rd floor laundry is free. We have supported staff here at Cogswell Hall, supported staff don't live here with the 41 residents here at Cogswell Hall. The supported staff comes in Monday through Friday around 8:30 AM - 9:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sundays supported staff comes in around 12:30 PM - 9:30 PM. Afther the supported staff leaves then a security guard comes in and sits at the front desk by the front door until morning. There is no curfews you may come and go any where as you please. Cogswell Hall has a lot of activities and go on a lot of outings/trips every month, that a supported staff will take a certain amount of residents to go on the outings/trips. We have our own van supported staff drives the residents in when we go out on our outings/trips. Some of our activities are; open mic night (which is on Fridays at 7:30 PM - about 9:00 PM), chair exercise, game night, art therapy, exercise class, and more. The place we go to on our outings/trips are; the Golden Corral, the flea market, bank run/shopping at target, the park, the Amish Country, and many more. We have bible study on Wednesday nights at 7:30 PM. We have our own store for our residents at Cogeswell Hall. You may live at Cogswell Hall as long as you want, but there a waiting list.
