The Faulkner County Library is part of the Faulkner-Van Buren Regional Library System.  FCL has branches in Greenbrier, Mayflower, Vilonia, Twin Groves, Clinton, Mt. Vernon and Conway.  This page is focused on the Conway branch.

Collection


The library has a great selection of adult and juvenile fiction, non-fiction, children's books and magazines.  It also houses the Arkansas Room. 

Media collection at the library includes a diverse array of music cds, audio books (CD, some cassette), and DVDs.

In 2011 the library began to offer digital media in audio and ebook form.  OverDrive Media is the content provider and is available here. The music collection is Freegal which provides access to some of the Sony catalog. 

Access to EBSCOHost Databases includes searchable Auto Repair References, Home Improvement Reference Center, Small Engine Repair Resources Center.

Resources


Activities such as lectures, film screenings, readings and book signings happen regularly at the library.  A vibrant community exists around activities and programs at the library.  All programs are provided free and are open to the public.

Classes and groups that meet include: yoga, genealogy, tai chi, sign language, yarn-a-holics, Conway Creative writers, a bluegrass jam session, and many other diverse offerings.

Meeting rooms are available but advance sign up is required.

Computers are available both with reservation and on a walk up basis.
