John Hogan

John Hogan, 43, of 53 Neil Street, Saranac Lake, died of a heart attack Thursday afternoon at his camp at Vermontville. He was born Feb. 16, 1920 in Alder Brook, son of Thomas J. and Anne E. Howard Hogan. Mr. Hogan was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion.

Survivors are his mother, of Saranac Lake; three brothers, Paul, Francis and Maurice, all of Saranac Lake and two sisters Mrs. Mary Amell of Saranac Lake and Mrs. Anna Madore of Clinton; several nephews and a niece.

Friends may call beginning tonight at 7 o'clock at the Madonna Chapel of the Keough and Son Funeral Home. An American Legion service and a Rosary Service at 8 p.m. Sunday will be held at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a. m. Monday at St. Paul's Church in Bloomingdale. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.
