The Hub Learning Center was a study center that provided tutoring staff in a variety of subjects. It was started by Andy Ligeti, whose relevant background is as a credentialed history teacher in Southern California. It opened in November 2014 and closed by April 2015.

Students paid a subscription to access the center for a quarter, and then had access to a quiet place to study that offered comfortable places to sit. The center provided Wi-Fi and printers, for students to use with their laptops or via provided tablets. There were also three private classrooms with projectors. The center hired tutors to help students with their study needs, and had an application process for students who wished to become tutors.

History of this location

This location used to be the Isla Vista Fluff & Fold Laundromat (and before that it was Bubbles and Beans, another laundromat), combined with the Caje space. After the Caje space got split off to become a coffee shop, this part of the building remained as a laundromat. The laundromat had left a few years ago, and for a while this had been an empty storefront. At some point during that time, it underwent significant renovation to convert the space from a laundromat into office space. Rental listing for the storefront.

As of April 2015, this location no longer has the Hub, and it has a "for lease" sign. It does have Acacia Counseling and Wellness in part of the office space (which opened in January 2015).
