Tips

The route can become very crowded during peak hours, and if you are not travelling a long distance down the line, one of the Route 7 buses may be a better option; they come very often so you can save yourself a wait for the iXpress.

Travelling with bicycle

If you want to take your bike with you, there are racks on the front of the bus. Be sure to do it right or the bus driver will honk at and embarrass you. Take your bike and put it in the furthest slot with the front tire in the space for the hook. The hook easily pulls out and lifts over your front tire. Your bike will be very secure so you won't have to worry about it, but don't forget to get it when you leave the bus!

Accessibility

The GRT is amazing for this kind of thing. All the buses are fully equipped to accommodate any passenger. If you are riding the bus and are not disabled, keep a courteous mind. The benches near the front of the bus are fold-ups and double as wheelchair spots. Pregnant women, disabled people or the elderly should be given priority access to these seats. If you're sitting down and notice somebody is standing who needs the spot more than you, give it up.
