I moved to Oakland in 2016 after living in San Francisco for 45 years. I am originally from Seattle and I enjoy Oakland for its many trees and lovely homes with yards, much like my hometown. I am learning my way around Oakland and am interested in its history. Currently, I am reading "Oakland. The Story of a City" by Beth Bagwell. I appreciate being able to look up information on this website. Also, I am a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.
