Hoffman Hills is a public parkland which was donated and has been restored by the DNR in Menomonie. Calvin, one of the park rangers has been working on restoring the Oak Savannah areas over the past 7 years planting over 700 trees. The Watchtower was built up by the Menomonie Optimists club. In the winter, Hoffman Hills has cross-country ski trails. Anyone over the age of 16 will need a 

State Trail Pass for cross-country skiing on the trails. No pass is required for winter hiking or snowshoeing.
