Curiosity Hacked Oakland Lab is a hackerspace by and for kids and families located in North Oakland at 6036 Telegraph Ave.

The project grew out of the Hacker Scouts youth hacking program that started out at the Ace Monster Toys hackerspace and has now become a program that's been replicated all across the country. Hacker Scouts used to be run out of Ace Monster Toys, but decided to start a new space to accommodate growth. After raising $37,000 in a successful kickstarter campaign in Oct. 2013, they got the space at 6036 Telegraph Ave. They held their first event in their new space on Oct. 27, 2013 and had a Grand Opening Party on Nov. 24, 2013.

Regular programming includes Oakland Open Lab every Sunday from 2-5 with free and at-cost projects for kids. Details are on their blog.
