The Great Communities Collaborative is a non-profit that represents communities in nine counties in the process of developing the future of Bay-Area-wide planning. It is funded by a number of community foundations across the Bay Area. Although they represent Oakland communities, they are actually not located in Oakland, but are based in San Francisco.
