The International Maritime Center is the local home to the Seamen's Church Institute (SCI) in the Port of Oakland. "SCI welcomes all seafarers, port workers, including truckers, and warehouse workers, to this friendly and safe environment for relaxation, recreation, and spiritual refreshment." 1 The IMC is located adjacent to the Port View Park parking lot within Middle Harbor Shoreline Park.
