Kamdesh Afghan Kabab House is a great Afghani restaurant in downtown Oakland (adjacent to and popular with residents of the Lakeside neighborhood). The owners are super nice and the food is great. Not many vegan/veggie options. This building used to house a sad-looking Korean place. Although there are now a couple other Afghani places in the area, Kamdesh was the first.
