La Hacienda is a new taqueria in Dimond on MacArthur. It is located on the former site of the Pico Paco Taqueria and is apparently following in its predecessor's footsteps by trying to challenge the taco hegemony of Taqueria Los Comales just down the street. Sadly for the challenger, the continued long lines at Los Comales and the empty tables at La Hacienda indicate that it will probably soon follow Pico Paco into taco oblivion.
The food is pretty standard taqueria fare. The tortas are made to order and come with french fries. The people who work there are really nice.
