National Girls and Women in Sports Day
On Friday, February 7, 4:00-6:00pm the Lincoln Square Recreation Center, located at 250 10th Street, will host the National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD).
NGWSD is celebrated in all 50 states honoring the achievements of female athletes and encouraging participation of girls and women in sports. Join us for exciting fun like tug-a-war, karaoke, jumpers and multiple sports.
Your support of this day helps the Office of Parks and Recreation’s efforts to increase visibility for female athletes and advance the struggle for equality in sports.
Free for girls of all ages. Parents, guardians, coaches and teachers are also strongly encouraged to participate.
