Paul Laurence Dunbar Cobb (born August, 1943) is the publisher and editor of the Oakland Post newspaper.

Cobb was born in West Oakland "on the basement floor of a building on Pine and 7th Street." He was named for poet, novelist and playwright Paul Laurence Dunbar1

He worked shining shoes, then got a paper route, then eventually worked for local publications, including the California Voice. He attended Pacific Union College and Howard University, and he marched with Martin Luther King, Jr. in Selma, Alabama.

He acquired The Post News Group in 2004 from Thomas Berkley's widow, and hired Chauncey Bailey as editor.
