ABOUT
North Ridge Country Club is located in north Raleigh at 6612 Falls of Neuse Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615. It is owned and operated by an elected board of governors who oversee all major decisions. NRCC offers several amenities included within their membership. Members have full access to all amenities and club events, and private event rooms are also available for any kind of meeting or celebration.

HISTORY
In 1967, about 3 miles north of Raleigh emerged the North Ridge Country Club. Ed Richards, the club's founder, risked a lot when he decided to build the club on the outskirts of the city. But, his prediction that the city would expand rapidly north over the next few years came true. This expansion ultimately surrounded the club with neighborhoods and provided potential customers. By June 1967, NRCC would boast 310 memberships and in April of 1968, there would be 400 members. The membership fee at the time was $15 a month with a $750 initiation fee. Currently, NRCC has around 1,100 members.
As of today, the club's original 18 holes have since increased to 36, maintained between two separate courses: Lakes and Oaks. These two courses were designed by Gene Hamm and George Cobb, two prolific golfers and golf course designers. Later they were updated by John LaFoy. The courses are spread across 400 acres.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership at NRCC is by invitation only. At this time, membership is full, and there is a waitlist. However, if you are lucky enough to join, the initiation fee ranges from a one time fee of $25,001 to $50,000. The annual dues amount to around $5,001 to $10,000. There are a few options of membership at the club: full golf memberships, sports memberships, junior executive memberships and family memberships. The price varies depending on the type of membership.
