Phoenix Academy serves between 35-45 students between ninth and twelfth grades. The school is the designated alternative school for the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School system. Phoenix Academy's primary focus is to help students to learn, to succeed, and to lead. Phoenix will provide a highly structured educational experience for these students that should allow them to eventually return to their home school or to other educational systems within the community.
