The Central Illinois Nonprofit Resources Center (CINRC) is a Funding Information Network partner of Candid, a leading authority on philanthropy. Located in the Norris L Brookens Library at the University of Illinois Springfield, this foundation provides resources, consultations, and workshops for nonprofits. The CINRC provides the use of the Foundation Directory Online for free if accessed at UIS Brookens Library. The FDO allows you to research potential funders.  

The CINRC also has an extensive book collection that is open to the public. Topics include fundraising, how to use social media to advertise your nonprofit, nonprofit sustainability, and more. To borrow, you can request a Lincoln Library Reciprocal Borrower card from Brookens Library if you hold a current Lincoln Library card, talk to Lincoln Library to find out how.
