The Armory Square District is a neighborhood and shopping area in downtown Syracuse surrounding the historic Center Armory, now home to MOST. The area has a number of well-preserved historic buildings and architectural styles, resulting in a 1984 designation as a National Historic District. 1 The Historic District includes sections of S. Clinton, S. Franklin, Walton, W. Fayette, and W. Jefferson Streets. Armory Square District is also home to dining, shopping and entertainment venues.
