Pendegast Street runs east-west between West Street and East Street. Situated south of Cross Street and north of Bartlett Avenue, it intersects (from west to east) McKinley Avenue, Cleveland Street, Pendegast Circle (which heads north only from Pendegast Street), Elm StreetDingle Lane (north only), College Street, Hyman Alley (south only), 1st Street, Bike Alley (south only), 2nd Street, Walden Schmidt Alley (north only), 3rd Street, 4th Street, 5th Street, 6th Street (north only), Railroad Alley (north only), and Pacific Street (south only). Its east end passes by Keto Bakery.

Pendegast Street has been planted with street trees by the city. The street trees include four invasive weed species: European Olive (Olea europaea), Purple-leaf Plum/Cherry Plum (Prunus cerasifera), Flowering Pear/Callery Pear (Pyrus calleryana), and Black Locust (Robinia pseudoacacia 'Purple Robe'). However, two street tree species planted along Pendegast Street are native to Woodland: Western Redbud (Cercus occidentalis) and Valley Oak (Quercus lobata). Additionally, three street tree species on Pendegast Street are native to other parts of California: Incense Cedar (Calocedrus decurrens), Modesto Ash/Arizona Ash (Fraxinus velutina), and California Fan Palm (Washingtonia filifera). Other non-native trees on Pendegast Street include Trident Maple (Acer buergerianum), Japanese Maple (Acer palmatum), Red Maple (Acer rubrum), Camphor Laurel (Camphora officinarum), European Hornbeam (Carpinus betulus 'Fastigiata'), Common Hackberry (Celtis occidentalis), Eastern Redbud (Cercis canadensis), Maidenhair Tree (Ginkgo biloba), Goldenrain Tree (Koelreuteria paniculata), Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia indica), Tulip Tree (Liriodendron tulipifera), Chinaberry (Melia azedarach), Chinese Pistache (Pistacia chinensis), London Plane (Platanus × hispanica), European Plum (Prunus domestica), Willow Oak (Quercus phellos), Idaho Locust (Robinia × ambigua 'Idahoensis'), and Saw-leaf Zelkova (Zelkova serrata).

Pendegast Circle is a dead-end street that projects north from Pendegast Street between Cleveland Street and Elm Street.
