Fairlane Green is a large big-box complex in Allen Park built on a former landfill and clay mine bounded by Outer Drive, Oakwood Boulevard, Southfield Road and Interstate 94. However, not all of that area is part of Fairlane Green, the shops that are not on "the Hill" are instead part of Independence Marketplace.

History

The portion west of Fairlane Drive opened in 2005, the portion east opened in 2007.

Transportation

Currently, SMART Route 140 is the lone bus route that runs within Fairlane Green. Previously the 145 and before that the 250 served the complex also.

Stores

Some stores at Fairlane Green include Target, Meijer, Best Buy, Home Depot, Barnes and Noble, Old Navy, TCF BankGap, fiveBELOW, T.J.Maxx, Rainbow, and rue21.

Restaurants

Some restaurants at Fairlane Green include Chili's, Taco Bell, Panera Bread, Qdoba, Longhorn SteakhousePanda Express and On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina.
