Electric Street, also known as Electric Avenue, is a discontinuous residential street extending from Riverview through Wyandotte and Lincoln Park into southwest Detroit. It took it's name from the former Detroit-Toledo interurban line that ran alongside until 1932, which was eventually replaced with various electrical wires.
